Senior Vocational Trainer

A well-established education institution is seeking an experienced trainer to join its academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering vocational courses to international students, providing high-quality education and support.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and evidence of ongoing professional development in the relevant fields. They must also have a solid knowledge of the NVR requirements for VET RTO standards.
Key Requirements:
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher
- Recognised qualifications in Hospitality, Business, and General English
- Training and Assessment experience in the VET sector, including student engagement, retention, and support strategies
- Experience working with international students
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Exceptional communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training materials that meet ASQA requirements
- Participate in regular Assessment validation and moderation processes
- Mentor and assess students from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Evaluate learner competency against performance criteria
