Salary range: $210,332 to $266,677 p.a. (L18-L27)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
In this role you will lead and manage the provision of medical services in accordance with the standard of the speciality, the ethics of the profession and in accordance with the applicable policies and procedures, in a hospital, community and outreach setting.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
Specialist Registration: You will hold specialist registration (or be eligible to hold) with AHPRA. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent acceptable to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and registrable as a specialist in Nephrology with the Medical Board of Australia.
This position includes both dayshift and after-hours on-call for hospital duties. This position may be required to undertake shifts in an extended span of ordinary hours to meet clinical need.
Highly desirable: Demonstrated experience in, or aptitude for, the organisation and management of Nephrology unit or other appropriate management experience.
Highly desirable: Advanced skills and experience in the medical management of patients with kidney disease and working within the multi-disciplinary team.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
