Western Power is seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to lead and deliver large-scale, business-critical initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. This role requires strong governance, stakeholder management, and delivery excellence across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects end-to-end in line with
    Western Power's Project Methodology, Standards, Processes, and Governance framework
    .
  • Plan, manage, and control
    scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk
    across the project lifecycle.
  • Establish and manage
    RAID logs
    , governance forums, reporting, and executive-level status updates.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, vendors, and external service providers to achieve business outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and manage
    project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
    , ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Monitor project financials including
    Capex and Opex
    , forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure project quality controls, assurance activities, and gate checks are completed to minimise delivery risk.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and meets compliance and audit standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–15 years
    of project management experience delivering complex IT or business transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage
    multi-stakeholder enterprise projects
    .
  • Strong experience in
    project governance, reporting, and financial management
    .
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to deliver projects to agreed
    scope, time, cost, and quality
    without compromising safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2
    , or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience working in
    utilities, infrastructure, or large enterprise environments
    .
  • Strong understanding of structured delivery frameworks and governance models.
