About the Opportunity

We are seeking a capable and motivated Project Manager to join a well-established civil contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of mining and infrastructure projects across Western Australia.

This role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end delivery of civil works across a variety of environments, including mine sites, regional infrastructure, and land development projects. The position suits an experienced Project Manager or a Senior Project Engineer ready to step up, with flexibility around background and sector experience.

Scope of Works

Projects may include, but are not limited to:

  • Mining infrastructure works
  • Bulk earthworks
  • Pavements and road construction
  • Rail infrastructure and interfaces
  • Subdivisions and civil land development

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across civil and mining infrastructure works
  • Manage project scope, cost, schedule, safety, quality, and risk
  • Coordinate site teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and commercial performance
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legislative requirements
  • Prepare and review project reporting, progress claims, forecasts, and programs

About You

  • Experience as a Project Manager, or Senior Project Engineer ready to step into a PM role, within civil construction or mining
  • Background in one or more of the following: earthworks, roads, pavements, rail, subdivisions, or mining infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of safety systems, project controls, and contractor delivery environments
  • Sound commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and contracts
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential)
  • Based in WA or willing to work regionally or on a FIFO/DIDO basis if required
