The Role

We're seeking a proactive Project Manager / Engineer to work on a FIFO basis from Cairns, Townsville, Brisbane, or Darwin. You'll be delivering small- to medium-scale capital project packages—valued between $50K and $10M—across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines in processing plants, mining infrastructure, and other heavy industry sites.


What You'll Do

  • Deliver end-to-end projects: scope, budget, schedule, execution, HSE, and reporting
  • Manage multi-disciplinary packages—small to mid-sized capital works—across civil, mechanical, and electrical domains
  • Engage with Tier 1 mining clients and regional councils, ensuring smooth communication and quality outcomes
  • Lead teams in self-performing capacities while integrating subcontractors and external stakeholders effectively
  • Deliver projects safely, on budget, on time, and with high standards of quality, backed by proactive risk mitigation

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing capital projects in mining or heavy industry
  • Strong multi-disciplinary knowledge across civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering
  • Excellent team collaboration and leadership skills in high-performing environments
  • Self-starting, proactive, and adaptable in dynamic project settings
  • Comfortable with FIFO rosters and flexible work arrangements
