2 roles: 1 Fulltime in Melbourne and 1 part-time in Brisbane
When the rest of the world is headed left, Ethan goes right. We're more than an IT, telco, and cloud provider, we're disruptors and game-changers—we're the kids in the class always doodling, creating, and innovating. Can you relate?
This is more than a EUC Engineer role. We're looking for someone who's going to take on our ethos and help shape the future of our industry. As a Level 2 End User Computing Engineer, you will provide escalated support for Intune-managed environments, troubleshoot intermediate to advanced endpoint issues, and maintain compliance, configuration, and application deployments.
You'll also live and breathe our 10 commandments* (see More Than an Appendix below).
MORE THAN A ROLE
Our role descriptions aren't the norm. You will also be responsible for handling complex incidents via ServiceNow, implementing and supporting Autopilot provisioning, Patch My PC, application packaging, and policy troubleshooting, all while adhering to ITIL best practices .
Key responsibilities in this role:
- Resolve L1 escalations and manage complex incidents involving:
- Autopilot provisioning issues (hardware hash, profile assignment, deployment timing).
- Intune compliance policy failures (BitLocker, Defender, OS version, password policies).
- Configuration policy conflicts or partial/failure status (Wi-Fi, VPN, certificates, registry settings).
- Application installation failures via Company Portal or required assignments.
- Create and maintain application packages using IntuneWin, set up app dependencies, supersedence, and retry behaviour.
- Troubleshoot Patch My PC integration issues and ensure 3rd-party software updates are applied correctly.
- Manage assignment groups and deployment rings in Intune for config policies, compliance, and app deployments.
- Utilise Proactive Remediations (PowerShell scripting) to detect and fix known device issues.
- Support co-management scenarios with SCCM, as needed.
- Monitor and maintain device inventory, sync health, and status reporting in MEM portal.
- Maintain documentation in a shared knowledge base (KB) for known issues and solutions.
- Ensure ticket handling and resolution are aligned with ITIL practices (Incident, Change, Knowledge).
- Collaborate with Security & Compliance teams to support E8-aligned hardening tasks (e.g., Application Control, Patch Compliance, MFA).
CERTS AND SKILLS
Don't walk in empty-handed. We preferably want to see one of these :
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102).
- ITIL Foundation v4.
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or equivalent.
THE ABSOLUTES-MUSTS
- Demonstrable experience in EUC or desktop support role
- Strong troubleshooting knowledge of Microsoft Intune (including Compliance, Configuration, Application deployment).
- Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot and troubleshooting profile assignments.
- Familiar with Patch My PC, application packaging, and deployment logs (IntuneManagementExtension).
- Ability to analyze logs via Event Viewer, Intune portal logs, and basic PowerShell for endpoint diagnostics.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and related ITIL workflows
- High attention to detail and thorough troubleshooting mindset.
- Analytical thinker who can work across incidents, root cause analysis, and recurring problem themes.
- Clear communicator who documents resolution paths and knowledge base articles.
- Proactive in identifying system or process improvement opportunities
Think you can fit more than a mould? Reach out, get in contact, arrest us with your professional rap sheet. Did we mention we're looking for diversity? If you're Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, we'd strongly advise you to apply.
MORE THAN AN APPENDIX (IT'S A LIFESTYLE)
- Professionalism and poise:
Maintaining a dignified and professional demeanour across all interactions. - Client-centric excellence:
Delivering results that prioritise our clients' needs and ensuring their end-to-end journey is nothing short of exceptional. - Elevating the company's success (not just your own):
