We are currently seeking a driven and attention-to-detail focused individual to join our professional Permits Team based at our stunning state-of-the-art Geelong Office.

Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare documentation and liaise with relevant Councils to arrange the prompt lodgement of plans and necessary building approvals to enable the construction process to commence in a timely manner
  • Assisting with land compliance assessments
  • Checking of the site start list and ensure actions are taken when required
  • Make sure all administration procedures and policies are adhered to
  • Generating reports based on findings and making all necessary recommendations
  • Liaising with external service providers and internal departments; and
  • Preparation of permit documentation for the building process.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Technical building industry experience preferred - ideally in permits
  • A sound understanding of Local Council and Consent Authority approvals process
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to manage customer expectations
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for customer service
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Outstanding organisational and time management capabilities; and
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment.
