About the role

Pickles Schoolwear Pty Ltd is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Retail Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients while supporting the smooth operation of our Marrickville Store and our on-campus school service across multiple locations in the area. Casual position; rostered Saturdays are required.

What you'll be doing

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, providing product knowledge and recommendations, to assist in customer facing transactions, along with phone and email enquiries.
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness
  • Restock and replenish merchandise as needed
  • Provide product recommendations and information to customers
  • Participate in inventory and backorder management, stock-takes and merchandising
  • Manage the team with various sales and administrative tasks including email, reports and spreadsheets
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety standards
  • Rostered Saturdays are required

What we're looking for:

  • A driver's Licence with a reliable car- ( per-kilometre car reimbursement will be provided)
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
  • Strong communication, problem-solving solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and work in a team and independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A well-presented candidate with attention to detail
  • A team-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute to the overall success of the business
