About the role:

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for but are not limited to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests whilst promoting Canterbury's values.

  • Efficiently take orders, upselling products, assisting in meal and beverage preparation, and ensuring quality and presentation standards.

  • Maintaining cleanliness of all service areas, handling payment transactions accurately, and delivering accurate, friendly and efficient service

  • Assisting with patron enquiries/requests and providing accurate Club information

As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will have the opportunity to work across various outlets including The Bistro, Bakehouse Café, The Flame Restaurant – our A La Carte Restaurant, Bulldogs Sports Bar, The Atrium Bar, Canterbury's newest function spaces and cocktail bar Bartega.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:

  • Current NSW RSA & RCG Competency Card (essential)

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service role

  • Be excited at the prospect of working in a fast-paced environment

  • Possess the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Exceptional grooming and presentation

  • Flexibility to work a rotating 24 hours, 7-day week roster including, mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
