Walk alongside people on their recovery journey – empowering hope, resilience, and independence.
We're looking for a compassionate and courageous Recovery Coach to support NDIS participants living with psychosocial disability. This is more than a support role – it's a chance to be a personal guide, a mentor, and a trusted ally in someone's journey toward wellness and self-determination.
Your role. Your impact.
Join Each as a NDIS Psychosocial Recovery Coach and play a pivotal role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. You'll develop meaningful relationships with customers, provide essential support, and empower them to achieve their goals.
By working collaboratively with customers, families, carers, and the broader service system, you'll help identify, plan, design, and coordinate NDIS supports that enable people to take control of their lives and better manage the complex challenges of day-to-day living.
Through recovery-enabling relationships and skilled coaching, you'll support individuals to build capacity, strengthen resilience, and increase their independence, social participation, and economic inclusion.
Your work will include:
- Supporting customers to design and implement personalised recovery plans
- Coaching individuals to build motivation, strengths, and decision-making skills
- Navigating complex service systems and coordinating supports across the NDIS and community services
- Collaborating with families, carers, and other services to ensure holistic, person-centred care
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with NDIA requirements
As a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, you'll build recovery-enabling relationships that help people navigate complex service systems, strengthen their personal capacity, and achieve meaningful goals. You'll use your lived or learned experience to coach individuals through challenges, celebrate their strengths, and connect them with the right supports.
You'll work collaboratively with families, carers, and service providers, ensuring each person's NDIS plan is not just followed – but brought to life.
Who we're looking for.
You're someone who brings compassion, courage, and clarity to your work. Whether through lived or learned experience, you understand the journey of mental health recovery and the importance of walking alongside someone with empathy and respect.
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Have lived or learned experience of mental ill health or psychosocial disability
- Hold a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or equivalent, or have 2+ years' experience in a mental health support role
- Are confident in engaging with individuals, families, and service providers
- Can work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Have strong communication and organisational skills
- Hold a current Victorian Driver's Licence and cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check or are willing to apply
What's in it for you.
Purpose-driven work that makes a real difference
Hybrid work options and flexible scheduling
Supportive team culture and professional development opportunities
A workplace that values lived experience, diversity, and inclusion
Not-for-profit salary packaging – Boost your take-home pay by up to $18,550 tax-free
