About The Company
Our client offers one of the most exciting job opportunities we have brought to market for some time. An organisation founded on a clear purpose, and a social and environmental conscience.
This community managed NFP has a vast property portfolio across regional NSW and is embarking on a significant growth phase to execute the corporate strategic plan and deliver on their long-term vision. Their purpose is to create a better future for communities via quality and sustainable housing services.
The Board and executive leadership are passionate, entrepreneurial and professionally excellent. There is a strong team spirit and collaboration across the entire business, with deep responsibility to drive positive change and make a real social impact.
They have a cohesive and inclusive culture which is empathetic and highly passionate about the cause within an environment of growth and transformation. The work environment is flexible, exciting and provides an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy.
What You Will Do
You will have full development leadership and strategic portfolio management ownership. You will continue to build a centre of excellence while delivering on new housing development, and maximising on the existing housing portfolio.
This is a key 'hands-on' role in all aspects of property development, a rare opportunity in regional Australia. You will be visible across the business, building effective relationships and getting involved in all commercial aspects.
Technically astute in strategic asset management and property development, you possess the gravitas to think through implications of development on the broader community. Your confidence and experience working with an astute Board has honed your ability to make sound investment decisions and their impact on stakeholders.
You will be responsible for leading successful negotiations of federal and state government funding initiatives to support ongoing investments.
Who You Are
Tertiary educated, you have at least 5 years senior leadership experience in either the property development or community housing industry sector. You are a strategic thinker, able to influence at all levels with integrity and trust.
An excellent communicator, you are self-motivated and respectfully challenge the status quo. You have a curious mind and love solving problems. Procedural and systematic, you are organised with strong attention to detail.
A natural leader of people, you have the qualities of patience, focus and influence. You are purpose-driven, trustworthy, and collaborative. Above all, you possess a social conscience and a passion for the property industry.
What We Offer
This is a unique opportunity to join a team who are passionate about what they do, open to new ideas and driven to make a real difference. A values-based business with a transparent, dynamic, and innovative culture.
Every day is different, and you will learn something new. The role is based in the Southern Highlands, and you will be working in one of the most beautiful environments in the country.
