As a Guest Service Agent / Housekeeping Attendant, you'll assist with housekeeping operations while learning key front office tasks. This combined role offers the chance to grow your skills and be part of a supportive and dynamic team at Kirra Point's premier holiday apartments.

The Guest Service Agent's primary responsibilities include warmly welcoming guests upon arrival and bidding them a fond farewell upon departure. They ensure accurate payment information and billing setup, provide room orientations, and assist guests throughout their stay.

About the Role:

In this combined role, you will work alongside both the housekeeping and front office teams, ensuring that every guest enjoys a seamless and comfortable stay. You will help maintain the high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms while also taking on front office duties, including guest services and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Office & Guest Services:

  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests on arrival and ensure a smooth departure.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, room orientations, and concierge services.
  • Stay informed about the local area, offering recommendations for dining, attractions, and events.
  • Manage guest reservations, accounts, and billing setups accurately.
  • Anticipate guest needs in the lobby and be proactive in providing assistance.

Housekeeping Attendant:

  • Clean and service guest rooms, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Change linens, vacuum, dust, and replenish room amenities as needed.
  • Report maintenance or repair issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in managing stock, linen, and maintaining an organised housekeeping operation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel or apartment setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for guest service.
  • Willingness to work across both housekeeping and front office tasks.
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to a variety of guest needs, and work with rotating rosters.
  • Australian working rights.
