About the Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll lead a motivated team of operators and ensure smooth daily production within our manufacturing facility in Darra QLD. You'll be responsible for meeting production targets, maintaining food safety and quality standards, and fostering a positive, high-performing culture on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise production staff to achieve daily and weekly output targets
  • Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, improve flow, and enhance efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and WHS standards
  • Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and planning teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members to build capability and engagement
  • Maintain accurate production records and reporting

About You

  • Experience as a Production Supervisor (or similar) in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and OH&S requirements
  • Proven leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach
  • Demonstrated experience executing Lean or Continuous Improvement initiatives (e.g. 5S, root cause analysis, standard work, visual management)
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands
  • Intermediate computer literacy
