About the Division
The Leadership Excellence Division delivers high quality leadership professional learning to school leaders at all levels. The professional learning portfolio, managed and delivered by the Division, includes career stage programs, leadership development programs, capability and disposition development, training programs and coaching and mentoring services. The Division is also responsible for implementation of the Victorian Aspiring Principal Assessment (VAPA). The Division's leadership programs are aligned with the Academy Leadership Excellence Framework, which sets out the practices, capabilities and domains of excellence in educational leadership. All programs are designed in line with high quality professional learning principles.
The Leadership Excellence Division works closely with other Academy Divisions to enable seamless participant support and customer service, efficient learning space and technology management and coordinated statewide program delivery.
About the Role
This position requires the successful applicant to demonstrate initiative, expertise, experience and knowledge in program and project management and evaluation. It also requires experience in developing, implementing, and customising professional learning program and project processes and systems.
To be successful in this role you will:
- support the project management of professional learning programs, including the scoping, planning and delivery of professional learning programs
- support the administration and logistics of the business unit, for instance, in budget and performance monitoring and management, program reporting and generalist project management
- have experience in developing, implementing, and customising program and project processes and systems
- collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement professional learning programs.
Capabilities
The successful Project Officer will be a highly motivated and organised individual with a proven ability to support the delivery of successful programs and projects. They will possess strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to service excellence, and exceptional stakeholder engagement capabilities. The role requires a demonstrated capacity for resource management, adaptability to changing priorities, and effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience for the role.
- Experience working in a dynamic, high performing team in a large, complex organisation.
- Proven ability to engage and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in project and administrative support, contract management, and budget tracking related to the design, delivery and evaluation of professional learning is mandatory.
