Cairns, Queensland, Australia KG Mechanical Services Pty Ltd Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

KG Mechanical Services Pty Ltd is a leading Cairns based, locally owned marine company. We are seeking 1X trade qualified Diesel Fitter & 2X Apprentices to join us for a full time, immediate start.

You will service and maintain:

  • Commercial vessels.
  • Private vessels.
  • Super yachts.
  • Industrial engines.
  • Diesel genset's.

You will need:

  • To possess strong diagnostic skills, have great communication and demonstrate good housekeeping.
  • Ability to work onsite, autonomously and after hours as required.
  • Away from home and remote work will be required on occasion.
  • Previous experience in the marine industry will be an advantage but not required.
  • Experience with Yanmar engines and marine transmissions an advantage.
  • Must be able to perform overtime and weekend work in peak periods.
  • White card an advantage but not a necessity.
