About the Role

As part of this forward-thinking team, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's internal governance, regulatory compliance and risk frameworks. This role provides the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of internal matters, including quality management, professional obligations, client intake processes and firm-wide policy initiatives.

In this position, you will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of systems and processes that help safeguard the firm's operations. You will gain exposure to complex issues involving legal compliance, professional standards, and internal risk considerations, all while developing your technical capability in a supportive and collaborative setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing quality and risk systems (ISO9001, ISO31000).
  • Advising on legal ethics, conflicts, and compliance.
  • Overseeing client intake, KYC, and AML processes.
  • Reviewing client agreements and supplier contracts.
  • Supporting governance, privacy, and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Conducting audits, policy updates, and training.

About You

You are a qualified lawyer with at least three years of post-admission experience, specializing in regulatory compliance, risk, and quality management. A strong understanding of Solicitors Conduct Rules and legal professional legislation is essential.

With excellent interpersonal skills, you thrive in both collaborative and independent work, building trusted relationships across the firm.
