Position Summary:

Our client, a renowned architectural firm, is seeking a motivated and creative Graduate Architect and/or Interior Designer to join their team. As part of the design team, you will work under the guidance of experienced architects and contribute to a wide range of projects. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience and develop your professional skills as an architect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing design proposals and creating presentation materials
  • Prepare drawings and 3D models primarily using Revit, as well as AutoCAD and other tools
  • Produce renderings using Lumion or Enscape
  • Support in preparing project documentation and conducting research
  • Participate in site visits and record existing building conditions
  • Research building materials, codes, and construction techniques
  • Assist in coordination with external consultants, contractors, and internal teams
  • Organize and manage design documentation and records
  • Support compliance checks with relevant codes, standards, and sustainability requirements

Qualifications:

  • Internship or part-time experience at an architectural firm is a plus (but not required)
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Passion for architecture and design, with a desire to learn and grow
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic knowledge of building codes and design processes

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Interest or knowledge in sustainable architecture (e.g. LEED, BELS, ZEB)
  • Understanding of parametric design tools such as Grasshopper
  • Familiarity with NSW building standards (ADG, BCA, Australian Standards)
  • Interest in Japanese architecture or culture
