Our Opportunity
We are searching for our next People & Engagement Executive to join our team. Cafs is seeking a values driven senior Executive to join our new Executive team. We have recently appointed to our Executive of Finance & Resources and looking for the final piece within the puzzle to form our new team.
As the Executive Manager of People & Engagement you will oversee a multi-disciplined team of truly great people wanting to make a difference to the communities we work with, supporting a dedicated leadership team and team members across a wide range of programs. You will be well versed in leading change, culture & development and have a keen passion for building team capabilities through learning, development and training opportunities.
The role will champion people projects, including IR matters and hold demonstrated experience as a HR or Senior Leader looking for their next opportunity.
About You
As a seasoned Executive within Human Resources, you will be driven by innovative ways of working, building new ways of working and building upon existing strategies and frameworks which have been implemented over the last two years. You will have experience working across a diverse range of programs including HR generalist, OHS, Learning & Development and Inclusion & Diversity. The role will require someone with a contemporary approach to continue to drive workforce capability and attraction and retention activities which align with our organisation and our strategic plan.
You will hold demonstrated experience working closely with a CEO, and broader Executive team to drive people strategies and change activities across an organisation.
Skills & Attributes
- Extensive experience working in Human Resources, Leadership ideally in a previous Executive position.
- Qualification in Management, Human Resource Management, Business or related discipline.
- Hold an AHRI Certification (CHRP- strongly desirable)
- Experience in providing high-quality Human Resource Advice, coaching and mentoring services to leadership.
- You will be a contemporary strategic thinker, continuing to look an innovative ways to build on practice and service support.
- You will be a dynamic team player, who loves to collaborate and engage with the team.
Our Organisation
Cafs (Child and Family Services Ballarat) is an independent community service organisation based in Ballarat for over 160 years. We provide over 50 programs across a range of service areas providing care for clients within communities across the central highland region.
