At ERA Care, we are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

We are currently seeking passionate and reliable Casual Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Help clients achieve their goals in line with their NDIS plan
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Support clients in the community with transport and participation in social activities
  • Administer and manage medication
  • Manual handling assistance when needed
  • Building positive relationships with clients, families, and the broader ERA Care team

What We're Looking For

  • Applicants must be willing to travel regularly to Northside of Brisbane for work.
  • A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts (including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays)
  • Good vibes and a variety of interests — whether it's cats, boardgames, crafts, or just a great sense of humour — to help create meaningful and engaging experiences
  • Reliable and responsive team player

Essential Requirements

  • At least 6-12 months experience
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check/ Yellow Card
  • Current Blue Card
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
  • Manual Handling and Medication Assistance training (or willing to obtain)
  • Qualifications in Disability Support, Community Services, or related field (preferred)
