The Mex in Ocean Grove has been an institution on the Bellarine peninsula for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on providing a fun and professional experience for both our customers and employees.

We are searching for energetic, professional, customer focused and reliable bar attendants and wait staff.

Candidates with demonstrated bar experience and cocktail making preferred however we will consider those with transferable skills.

We are also seeking front of house wait staff to assist in providing a first class customer experience.

Current responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and right to work in Australia required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

  • Assess customer needs and preferences, making recommendations as required

  • Check customers' IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages

  • Monitor patrons behaviour and alcoholic intake, taking appropriate action to ensure safety.

  • Clean and maintain a tidy bar and surrounding areas

  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
