An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and strategic leader to join the Executive Leadership Team at North Lakes State College as Head of School - P-9 Campus.
We are seeking a forward-thinking and values-driven professional who can deliver the Department's vision, strengthen the quality of teaching and learning, and lead a culture of inclusion, wellbeing, and excellence.
As Head of Campus, you will lead your school community with the authority of a Level 5 Principal, working in close collaboration with the Executive Principal to ensure every student experiences success and every staff member is supported to deliver high-quality learning outcomes.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:
As Head of School - P-9 Campus, you will lead with purpose and collaboration to strengthen the foundations of learning, engagement, and wellbeing across the early, middle, and junior secondary years. You will play a pivotal role in delivering the Department's vision and the College's strategic priorities, working closely with the Executive Principal and Executive Leadership Team to ensure seamless P-12 alignment and continuity of learning.
In addition to leading your campus community, you will contribute to whole-college improvement through a strategic leadership portfolio that supports excellence across the entire College.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the school community to develop, articulate, and commit to a shared educational vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Upholding the principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral endeavour.
- Embedding socially just practices in everyday school life.
- Setting high expectations for student and staff performance.
- Modelling lifelong learning and professional growth.
- Building partnerships with parents, government agencies, community groups, and industry partners.
- Leading strategically and fostering future-oriented practice.
- Ensuring understanding and implementation of relevant legislation and policies impacting schooling.
- Managing resources effectively to achieve school and departmental goals.
