About this Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Senior Facilities Manager, as the Facilities Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the facilities management function at RFDS SA/NT. The role will support and coordinate the day-to-day facilities management of all infrastructure including bases, clinics, accommodation, and vehicle fleet maintenance.

We believe our people – all of our people – keep the Royal Flying Doctor Service flying.

Specifically, you will:

  • Support the Senior Facilities Manager to organise the day to day issues associated with RFDS SA/NT facilities, including co-ordination of repairs and maintenance to buildings, plant and equipment.
  • Respond to urgent facility related issues including assisting with requests for repairs, maintenance and faults to any items, equipment and amenities.
  • Support the Senior Facilities Manager as required in coordination of projects such as new sites and building works for existing sites.

About You

You are:

  • An experienced facilities officer or project manager with strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Able to develop and implement maintenance and servicing schedules/systems
  • Experienced in contract management process and coordination.

To be considered for the role you require:

  • Project Management experience and/or knowledge.
  • Building Industry experience and/or knowledge.
