**What's the role on offer?**

Based onsite in our Brisbane Hangar facilities, this hands-on and dynamic role will support our Engineering team by managing the tools, ground support equipment (GSE) and facilities that keep us operational and safe. As the Facility & Equipment Officer, you will ensure compliance and maintenance across key engineering assets while helping improve safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinate the maintenance, compliance, and purchasing of Ground Support Equipment (GSE), tooling, and engineering facilities.
- Assist in managing tooling inventory, including shelf-life and calibration, ensuring readiness for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Support Maintenance Planners to ensure required tooling and GSE availability across all work programs.
- Identify and implement process improvements across facilities and equipment management.
- Provide support to internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance with safety and OH&S standards.
- Promote a culture of safety and reporting across engineering operations, complying with the Alliance Airlines Corporate Safety Manual.

**Who we are looking for**:
We’re after a proactive team player with basic mechanical aptitude and a safety-first mindset. You’ll be flexible and organised, with a willingness to tackle a range of tasks. Ideally, you’ll also have:

- A valid manual driver’s licence, forklift licence, and ability to gain an ASIC and Airside Authority.
- Experience using computer-based systems and confidence communicating with suppliers and contractors.
- An eye for detail, and a logical and accurate approach to task execution.
- Some experience with Dangerous Goods shipping, fabrication, or general automotive maintenance is beneficial.
- A strong sense of teamwork and a commitment to Alliance values - Performance, Purpose, People & Service.
- Familiarity with aviation or engineering support environments is advantageous.
