About the Role

We are excited to announce that a fantastic opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion, with our current team member stepping into a driver role Monaro Fuel Haulage is a well-established transport and logistics company known for maintaining a fleet of high-quality trucks.

Our Yard Hands / Detailers are responsible for ensuring all vehicles are promptly cleaned upon arrival into the depot, keeping the yard clear from any litter, and general garden maintenance. You may also be asked to assist the maintenance team in picking up parts from town (a company car would be used for any pickups).

The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 38 hours per week, with the occasional Sunday shift. The standard roster for this role will be Tuesday to Saturday. We are seeking someone with a strong eye for detail, and this position is perfect for a candidate eager to start a career in the transport industry, with the opportunity to gain valuable exposure and insight into Fuel and Dangerous Goods.

Skills and Experience

  • Hold a current Manual Car Drivers license
  • Proven culture of safety, understanding hazard identification and risk assessment process
  • Excellent communication skills and a team focused attitude
  • A proactive approach to all tasks
  • Highly motivated and self-driven with high attention to detail
