Long term position on family friendly roster with good remuneration and benefits
Are you a focused, clear-thinking, and organised electrical Tradesperson looking for a career/challenge, not just a job? Are you driven by constant improvement and love to see others, and yourself, succeed?
If yes, then this might be your future…..
YOU:
People in the workplace will have described you as a leader or team player. You have an uncanny ability to see things that apply to the direction of the business and to think ahead, organise and execute a solution without being asked. You are a natural organiser who can see problems well before they appear and have already worked out a solution to them. You are driven, competitive, consistent and not afraid of challenges. You enjoy being at the front line and able to build rapport with clients in minimal time. You take a personal interest in health and wellbeing and see the benefit in what our company provides to its clients. Overall, you have an interest in expanding your knowledge base in the carpentry industry and have a passion to build a world-changing project execution team, customer service and professional development for yourself, the business, and our client base.
Furthermore, you are "Motivated" by results and understand that through strategic direction, you add a competitive advantage to the overall 'Big Picture' of the company. You believe that to give an organisation the best shot at success, it is about managing yourself, people and our team activities, rather than micromanaging numbers.
You will have history of personal development and have demonstrated a high desire to achieve results not only for your personal gain, but for a greater purpose. Moreover, you must be willing to grow and like any growth and change in life, it's not as easy as everybody would be doing it, and the fact is, they're not. So, this role will push your own comfort zone (in a positive way). If that's not you, or if you've had to stop and think about it whilst reading this paragraph, this role is NOT FOR YOU.
Your previous experience as an Electrician will be clear in your CV and will demonstrate your ability to be autonomous in a role, you are 1) influential 2) organised. Time management, prioritization professionalism along with displaying a strategic approach to reach goals is a must. You will exhibit problem solving skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally with ease. You have a high level of experience in customer satisfaction and project success, staying proactive to ensure we meet our objectives as a business and our personal goals.
You must have a current driver's license, Australian electrical certificate, Working-at-Heights and EWP tickets, and experience working on mine/port sites.
Additional tickets including split air conditioning, Rio Tinto inductions, qualifications, training and competencies are required to be listed on your CV and will be favorable.
Lastly, you typify "Going the Extra Mile" and will have a whole textbook full of examples. If you have a history of being a "Clock Watcher" you'll last 5 minutes in this role. Part of our culture is – do whatever it takes so our clients, suppliers and team members all win.
Overall Qualities and Characteristics: Self-starter, energetic, influential, motivated, take-charge, independent, honest, integrity, loyal, articulate, communicative, strategic, sense of humor, organised, efficient, punctual, confident, firm, decisive, non-judgmental, polite, pleasant, conscientious, practical, spontaneous, thorough, diligent, intelligent, mature, problem solver, compassionate, good listener, attentive, patient, disciplined, thoughtful, flexible, multi-task.
WHY JOIN OUR TEAM?
Not only will you have the chance to grow and dramatically increase your skills and experience but we also offer extensive personal development and goal setting program. The business is abundant and rewards performance, loyalty and the extra mile So, given you step up, live the culture and become a 'better you' whilst helping the team achieve our vision, you'll be rewarded not only financially but also personally.
