Ganaji Contracting is a growing leader in maintenance and construction, delivering high-quality projects for top-tier clients across Western Australia, both onshore and offshore. We are working with Bechtel on the construction of the Pluto Train 2 project.
About the Role:
Ganaji Contracting is calling on skilled EEHA Electricians and Instrumentation Technicians to join our team on the Pluto Train 2 project in Karratha
Location:
Pluto Train 2 – Karratha WA
FIFO Point of Hire
Paid flights from all capital cities
Points of Hire: Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Darwin, Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane and Canberra.
Roles are also available to Local Karratha residents.
Roster
- 3 Weeks on – 1 week off
- Fly home on the morning of day 21 – be paid at ordinary hours and home the same day
Pay Rates:
- All positions paid weekly in accordance with the Project Enterprise Agreement.
Start Date:
- Available immediately – we're hiring now
Project Hours
68 hour work week
Monday to Saturday: 10 hour days
- Sunday: 8 hour days
Position Overview
For both roles we require demonstrated experience in Industrial construction projects.
EEHA Electrician Role duties include:
- Hazardous area installations
- Cabling and Supports
- Glanding and termination
- Electrical testing of all apparatus and cabling
Instrumentation Technician Role duties include:
- Instrument calibrations, loop testing/checking, analyzer testing, function testing and troubleshooting instrumentation such as flow, level, temperature, and pressure transmitters.
- Shut down and control valve testing.
- Reading, understanding and following P&ID's, data sheets, calibration reports, loop drawings, cause and effects and supplier manuals
- Use various types of test and calibration equipment
Qualifications
- Unrestricted Electrical License (Western Australia)
- Cert III Electrical
- Cert III or Cert IV Instrumentation (or equivalent)
- Cert IV in Hazardous Areas or EEHA (must have been completed within the past 5 years)
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Provide First Aid (must have been completed within the last 3 years)
- Provide CPR (must have been completed within the last 12 months)
- Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel (must have been completed within the last 12 months)
- White Card (General Construction Induction Training)
- Photo ID (Driver's License or Passport)
