Motor Mechanics / Trades Assistants – Qualified or Experienced

Ringwood Automatics are looking for new team members. The roles are mainly stripping, washing and preparing automatic transmissions for rebuilding. The applicants will also be trained to start the reassembly process, eventually leading into a rebuilding role.

At Ringwood Automatics we specialise in automatic transmissions, providing a range of repairs for a vehicle's gearbox, from servicing and minor repairs to complete rebuilds and overhauls. We also offer a more comprehensive range of services, from mechanical repairs to vehicle servicing and inspections.

The ideal applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in the motor vehicle industry
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in the motor vehicle industry
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good computer and numeracy skills
  • Able to be hands on, with a strong attention to detail
  • Maturity & punctuality with a strong work ethic
  • Pride in your ability to problem solve / fault find.
  • Certificate III or IV in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (preferred but not essential for trades assistant roles)

To be successful, you will have a passion for cars and be committed to learning, undertaking training and developing your Automotive technical ability to the highest industry standards. You must have a full current Victorian manual driver's license.

You must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)

Above award wages will be paid (salary package and incentives are negotiable for the right applicants).
