About the role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team at A1 auto service and repair in Truganina, VIC. As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles. This is a full-time position and you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our busy auto workshop.
What you'll be doing
- Performing scheduled servicing and maintenance on vehicles
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Test driving vehicles to ensure repairs have been carried out effectively
- Completing job cards and other documentation accurately
- Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
- Providing excellent customer service and advice
What we're looking for
- Qualification in automotive mechanics or a related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
- diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the latest automotive technologies and repair methods
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
