The Onsite Commercial team in Sydney and Newcastle, like the broader Reece team, are committed, down to earth and driven people striving for greatness every day.

About the role

The role of Specification Consultant is to ensure our imported bathroom products are specified in commercial projects of all types, which will subsequently lead to increased specifications in residential projects.

This dedicated specification team will engage interior designers and take on opportunities to influence project specifications and secure our products' inclusion in developments.

What can you expect?

  • Be the go-to expert for all things bathroom specification—your clients rely on you for insight and inspiration.
  • Provide tailored consultation across diverse sectors: hospitality, build-to-rent, social housing, retail, residential, aged care, workplace, education, government, warehousing, and mining.
  • Champion environmentally sustainable design (ESD) practices and solutions.
  • Deliver bespoke product recommendations that meet unique project needs.
  • Align product selections with project budgets and cost plans.
  • Coordinate swatches, sample approvals, and mock-up rooms to bring specifications to life.
  • Highlight the benefits and risk mitigation of our VAP offerings.
  • Build trusted partnerships with Owners, Directors, Associates, and teams within top A&D firms.
  • Support accurate tracking of brand specifications from initial contact to final sale.

Skills and Experience

  • People skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, colleagues and customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - to establish a productive working relationship with all staff and customers
  • Willingness to 'have a go'
  • Great personal and workplace presentation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows programs including, Word, Outlook and Excel
