At Localing, we don't just hire tour guides. We look for people our guests actually want to spend the day with. That's why we call our guides hosts. It's not about rattling off sites and stats; it's about creating genuine connections. Our hosts come from all walks of life: teachers, journalists, students, even comedians. What they share is a love for their home and a knack for connecting with new people and making them feel cared for.

About You

  • You're passionate about where you live and love sharing it.
  • You're a good talker, a better listener.
  • You thrive on connecting with people from around the world.
  • You don't need guiding experience, just energy, confidence, and heart.

We're especially keen to hear from bilingual hosts who can welcome guests in Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, or Mandarin.

The Role

  • Based in Brisbane
  • Flexible work
  • Tours run 4–12 hours, blending culture, cuisine, nature, and connection.
  • You'll also need a valid unrestricted driver's licence, ABN, and First Aid. CPV accreditation is required in Victoria (or willingness to get it).
