Dental Receptionist – Brand New Orthodontic Practice

We are seeking a warm, organised and professional Dental Receptionist to join our brand-new orthodontic practice on the Upper North Shore. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fresh, modern clinic from day one and help us create a welcoming experience for our patients and their families.

Position: Full-time/part-time permanent.

Hours: Weekdays 8:30am – 5:30pm (no weekends)

Start date: Early November

Pay range: $30–$33 per hour, based on experience and in line with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing phone calls, emails, and patient enquiries
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Processing payments and reconciling daily bookings
  • Assisting with correspondence and writing letters
  • Providing personal assistant support to the orthodontist
  • Ensuring smooth day-to-day flow of the practice

About you:

  • Friendly, professional and confident communicator
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computers and dental software
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a small team
  • Previous dental or medical reception experience is preferred but not essential
