We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental/Orthodontic Assistant and Receptionist to join our dynamic team This is a full or part time position with compressed 10 hour shifts over 4 days.

This is a dual role split evenly between Dental Assisting and Reception duties.

The primary location for this position is Parramatta however you will be required to travel to Canterbury approximately one day per week.

Dental Assisting Duties:

  • Assist the orthodontist during patient exams and procedures
  • Prepare and sterilise orthodontic equipment and instruments
  • Take patient records (ie photos and intra-oral scanning)
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care
  • Provide excellent patient care and comfort

Receptionist Duties:

  • Book appointments for new and existing patients
  • Manage phone and email enquiries
  • Process payments
  • Ability to multi task in a busy environment

About you:

  • 1 year experience in a dental clinic is essential.
  • Cert III in Dental Assisting or higher
  • Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our orthodontic team and interact effectively with patients.
  • You need to be detail-oriented and show strong attention to detail
