About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our professional and supportive team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner.
  • Manage patient appointments and recall systems using dental software (e.g., Dental4Windows, EXACT, or similar).
  • Handle phone, email, and online enquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Process payments, health fund claims (HICAPS), and manage accounts receivable.
  • Coordinate treatment plans, quotes, and consent forms with patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Support the clinical team by ensuring smooth daily operations and efficient scheduling.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as stock ordering, invoicing, and reporting as required.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
  • Professional presentation and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential.
