THE OPPORTUNITY

A busy, long-established general dental practice in Fortitude Valley is seeking an experienced Associate Dentist to take over the existing patient base and clinical scope from the Principal who is reducing own clinical hours.

This includes the opportunity to take on implants, clear aligners, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, general dentistry or any other areas of your preference.

This practice has been present for 20 years and has built significant community goodwill and a strong word-of-mouth engine across the Fortitude Valley, Hamilton and Teneriffe areas.

You'll step into a modern 2-chair practice (third chair underway for Dec 2025/Jan 2026) with steady new-patient flow driven by families and young professionals.

You'll have the option of starting on 2 days per week and increasing to 3, 4 or 5 days later in the year or in 2026.

Due to the Principal's giving and understanding nature, support and guidance is available wherever you need it.

What else is in it for you?

  • Tiered commission: 40%, 43% and 45%
  • Inherit established books from the Principal including high-end cases
  • Take on clinical scope of your choosing, which can include All-on-X, implants, clear aligners and general dentistry
  • Consistent new-patient flow: typically 70–80 per month and 3,500 active patients across two chairs
  • Strong lead generation via fixed orthodontics patient base and then comprehensive dentistry from there
  • Technology: CBCT, Medit and Trios 5 scanners, in-house IV sedation
  • Support: a strong, highly-trained, unified and cohesive support team and an OHT
  • Patient base: middle to higher socioeconomic demographic with strong treatment acceptance
  • Ethical, patient-first culture with clinical autonomy and Principal mentorship

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years' experience in Australian private practice
  • Strong capability in implants or clear aligners
  • Patient-first, gentle chairside manner and clear communicator
  • Grounded team player who values quality care over quick wins
  • Culture-add: collaborative, low-ego, reliable and long-term minded
  • AHPRA registration without conditions and current professional indemnity insurance
