Opportunity One: PADP – 9 Months

Reporting to the Patient Administration Data Platform (PADP) Project Manager within the Digitally Enabled Business Solutions unit, you will work closely with delivery teams, practice managers, support teams and subject matter experts to build a modern cloud-based business intelligence solution.

As a Principal Business Analyst, you will play an integral role in the delivery of the PADP which will support a contemporary datastore environment and reporting and analytics solution for Queensland Health patient administration data which in turn will support modernised healthcare processes and improved integrated care.

The role will be responsible for engaging and communicating effectively with stakeholders at every level (Director, Data Manager, Team Lead, Clinicians and end users) when required to make sure a complete implicit understanding of the business is known. Additionally, you will contribute to an effective customer focused team and work collaboratively to initiate, influence, and maintain relationships between internal and external stakeholders.

Opportunity two: Application Support Transition Project - 30/6/2026

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play an integral role in the delivery of the Support Transition Planning products which will ensure continuity of application and database support for Queensland Health. This role will be responsible for engaging and communicating effectively with stakeholders across technical teams, business stakeholders, support and service providers. You will contribute to requirements elicitation and validation, current state analysis, gap analysis and risk assessment activities throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally you will contribute to developing transition planning products and plans. As the Principal Business Analyst you will lead the stakeholder engagement and communication across multiple stakeholders and assist in managing the change impact including communications. To be successful in this role you will proactively encourage critical discussions with the right stakeholders to fully comprehend the important aspects of support and maintenance needs and making sure all facets are examined from all angles.

*While not compulsory, knowledge of the existing patient administration systems used within Queensland Health, would be highly regarded, specifically HBCIS and/or related downstream clinical or business systems.**
