About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at Cosmetic Manufacturers. In this key role, you will be responsible maintaining all equipment at our facility in Helensvale, Queensland. As a full-time position, you will play a vital part in ensuring that all machinery is maintained and operates efficiently on a daily basis.

What you will be doing

·       Responsible for all maintenance in the areas of manufacturing, packaging, warehousing

·       Accountability for safety, quality, and environmental compliance across the site

·       Assist in sourcing new equipment and install and commission

·       Ongoing repairs and maintenance of all equipment on site

·       Equipment fault finding and repairs

·       Contractor management

·       Maintain appropriate levels of critical spares

What we are looking for

·       Previous experience in process plant operations, ideally within cosmetic, pharmaceutical or other FMCG business. Should you have other experience that would complement our facility we would welcome your resume

·       Experience working within a TGA or FDA regulated environment

·       Strong understanding of safety with the ability to identify risks and implement controls

·       High level of mechanical aptitude and competent at basic equipment repairs

·       Thorough understanding of the sitewide maintenance requirements for a manufacturing business

·       Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills

·       Strong problem-solving skills

·       Previous contractor management experience

·       Proficient in the use of MS suite
