Roadworx Group is a multi-divisional infrastructure contractor approaching 200 employees and a fleet of more than 170 pieces of plant and equipment. We are currently seeking to recruit Stabilising Crew Operators at our Kembla Grange based Operations.
The Role:
The successful candidates will be responsible for the daily duties associated with working in the Stabilising crew and will perform duties such as plant operating using Stabilising machines, graders, rollers, bobcats, excavators, trucks and labouring work on site using hand tools. The Stabilising crew has a broad range of works, from multi term Council contracts to civil project and small private jobs. Candidates must be available for working away during the week and occasional weekend work may be required. A strong team player attitude and a commitment to safety is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must be willing to work in a positive team environment. Roadworx is committed to the safe operating behaviour of its work force. We require candidates who are willing to work in a multi skilled role, willing to step outside their comfort zone and challenge themselves.
Requirements:

Experience in civil construction, particularly pavement construction. Prior experience in stabilising would be highly regarded.

Experience operating various plant including graders, skid steers, excavators, stabilising machines and rollers.

Heavy Rigid licence (HR) (or have plans to obtain HR License).

Driver licence.
-
White card.
-
Be physically fit.
-
Have the ability to work on your own initiative and have the ability to work independently, unsupervised.

Detail orientated.

Possess good communication skills.

Two work related references from previous employers.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of one year directly related experience essential.
Physical Environment:
-
Frequent ability to lift or move up to 20kg throughout a shift and spend prolonged periods on your feet.

Frequent ability to sit, climb, reach, and bend throughout a shift.

Ability to pass a physical annually including a drug screen.
-
Ability to work in an outdoor construction environment, with moderate noise levels.
