The Role:

As a Production and Transport Scheduler, you'll be the backbone of our operations. You'll be responsible for supporting our customers, scheduling of our truck drivers, bulk deliveries and supporting our freight delivery.

Your main duties will include:

  • Logistics & Coordination of bulk deliveries to customers
  • Scheduling delivery drivers within fatigue and mass limits
  • Daily forwarding and accurate recording of paperwork to the administration team
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all safety procedures are followed, report hazards, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Production scheduling with operations
  • Working with multiple departments including: sales, site management, operations, drivers, finance and administration
  • Working closely with customers

Skills & Experience:

  • It is desired you will have previous experience as a Production and Transport Scheduler within bulk commodities or a similar field.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong planning, administration, attention to detail and good negotiation skills are important.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A proactive, reliable, and motivated team player who enjoys working independently when needed.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to best practice
  • Understanding of stock feed industry, commodities would advantageous
