The On The Way Roadhouse Group Operates several Regional Roadhouses/Post Offices and we are actively recruiting for our sites.

Your Role:

As a Store/Site Manager or Assistant Mangers, you'll be a key leader in a motivated and enthusiastic team. You'll work closely with regional managers and owners, and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a busy roadhouse/ Australia Post-style business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage POS systems and stock control
  • Order and replenish stock
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations
  • Supervise and train staff
  • Maintain high standards of customer service
  • Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Conduct fuel dips and water tests
  • Ensure site cleanliness and presentation
  • Complete paperwork and invoice sign-offs
  • Foster a positive team environment

About You:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in retail or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and financially diligent
  • Positive, proactive, and organized
  • Willing to commit to a minimum 2-year term

Bonus Skills (Not Essential):

  • Forklift ticket
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Confident in the kitchen – burgers, takeaway, basic meals
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Profit Track
  • Understanding of food safety standards

Requirements:
  • Current Police Clearance
  • Willingness to relocate and integrate into the local community
  • Availability to be on-call and responsive when needed
