At Sanctuary Wellness Clinic, we believe in working closely with children, patient and their families, fostering a supportive environment for ongoing care. We are brand new private clinic located in the heart of Warwick, Perth. We provides a holistic approach to ensure that all aspects of a patient's health—physical, emotional, and psychological—are addressed. Our clinic boasts a diverse, multicultural team of professionals, including Psychiatrists, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists, General Practitioners (GPs), Psychologists and Credentialed Mental health Nurse.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and supporting our clinic's operations. We are looking for casual and part time roles. You must be available from Monday to Saturday business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the calendar for a group of doctors.

· Provide informed financial consent and collect prepayments for upcoming appointment

· Schedule in-room and Telehealth consultations

· Enter and maintain accurate patient data and notes in our software system.

· Handle patient accounts from payments, invoicing & receipting, including liaising with Medicare, health funds, and insurance companies.

· Follow up on outstanding payments and manage bad debts.

· Respond to patient enquiries via phone and email.

· Deliver high-level clerical support to doctors, enabling them to focus on patient care.

Essential selection criteria

· Minimum 24 months (2 years) medical reception experience

· Patient focused approach

· Exceptional telephone manner

· Proficient in Best Practice medical software or similar medical software

· Proficient in Microsoft Office 365

· Strong communication skills - verbal and written

· High-level of attention to detail and data entry accuracy

· Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.

· Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

· Experience in EFTPOS and banking

· Strong understanding of the principals of patient confidentiality
