Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced machining environment? RCR Mining Technologies has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Machining Supervisor to lead our machining team in our Welshpool Workshop.

About the Role

As our Machining Supervisor, you'll lead a skilled team of Machinists and oversee daily workshop operations across borers, lathes, drills, and mills. You'll ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while driving continuous improvement and supporting capability development across the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Machinists
  • Plan, allocate, and supervise daily machining activities
  • Manage materials, stock, and workflow to meet deadlines
  • Build and support a strong leading hand structure within the team
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop
  • Deliver training and upskilling programs to enhance team capability

What You'll Bring

  • Australian-recognised Machining Trade Qualification
  • Strong machining knowledge across tooling, systems, and production processes
  • Experience with Fanuc machine controls
  • Dogman / Rigger Basic – desirable
  • Certificate IV in Leadership & Management – desirable
  • Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Strong understanding of quality and safety management systems
