Join the Civmec Team

After securing a very exciting project with Rio Tinto, Civmec are currently seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to join our Project team on a 2/1 roster in the Pilbara.

The scope of work being undertaken covers most disciplines performed by Civmec within the maintenance space. The project will comprise of 8 shutdowns over a period of 12 months performing upgrades on 6 of the clients' balance machines (Stackers, Reclaimers and Ship Loaders).

The Role

  • Carry out electrical supervision and work to ensure compliance with company, client and statutory obligations.
  • Maintain adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Electricians, providing guidance and support
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes and accurate weekly reporting
  • Manage labour relations and coordinate with the representative groups to ensure a harmonious workplace

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • A strong background in Electrical Maintenance projects on balance machines
  • Hold a current WA Electrical licence, Electrical Nominee ticket and Electrical Trade certificate
  • Previous supervision on maintenance/shutdown projects within Australia
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously and a focus on safety
