At RCR Mining Technologies – Service Delivery, we specialise in shutdowns, installations and breakdown support across the Pilbara. Our dedicated team keeps major mining equipment operating safely and productively day-in, day-out.

The Opportunity

We're seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters to join us on a casual and full-time FIFO basis from Perth for high-impact shutdown work. If you're ready for adventure, strong team culture and meaningful work — we want you.

In this role, you will:

  • Disassemble, overhaul, and reassemble gearboxes, pumps, pulleys, valves, screens and other OEM components—delivering precision and quality.
  • Operate, maintain and service mechanical equipment in line with your trade expertise.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and detailed work instructions accurately.
  • Keep your work area clean and organised, and ensure all tools and equipment are in top condition.
  • Suggest improvements to tooling, workflows and site conditions—your ideas matter.
  • Bring a strong safety mindset and thrive as part of a collaborative team.
  • Take responsibility for everyone's safety—wear correct PPE, conduct risk assessments, and report hazards without delay.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working on mining sites.
  • Trade certification as a Mechanical Fitter.
  • C class Australian driver's licence.
  • Licence to perform high risk work
  • Current certification for Entry & Work in Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, and Gas Test Atmospheres (valid within the last 2 years).
  • First Attack Firefighting Equipment certification.
