PPS Servicing has proven experience and capabilities in the mining industry with maintenance, construction, engineering design, fabrication and installation of industrial facilities.

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our growing team at Sino Iron Project, Cape Preston.

Mechanical Fitter – FIFO 2:1 Roster

Location: Sino Iron Ore, Cape Preston (FIFO from Perth)

Employment Type: Full-time

To be eligible for the role, you must possess the following:

  • Good knowledge and experience in working in a complex environment

  • High level of commitment to safety and safe work practices

  • Able to work as part of an extended team and unsupervised

  • Able to work safely at heights and within confined spaces

  • Minimum 1-2 years work experience (mechanical fitter) preferably in mining/resources sector

  • Maintenance experience on fixed plant equipment highly desirable
  • Ability to work in extreme heat (50 degrees)

Qualifications / Certificates:

  • Trade Certificate - Mechanical Fitting
  • Valid Elevated Work Platform / HRWL - WP
  • Valid Working Safely at Heights / Confined Spaces Ticket
  • White Card
  • Current WA Drivers Licence
  • Applicants holding additional High Risk Work Licence classifications will be highly regarded

Applicants will be required to:

  • Undertake and pass a Pre-Employment Medical and D&A Test before commencement
  • Work wearing a 3M 7500 Mask (Half face)
  • Perform physical demanding tasks
