Data Architect – AWS, Databricks & ElasticSearch | High Profile Project

Are you a Data Architect who loves designing smart, scalable solutions that actually get used? The Talent Initiative is partnering with a high-profile client and looking for someone who can bring deep technical know-how, big-picture thinking, and a knack for turning business needs into reality.

This is a 6–12 month minimum engagement (plenty of runway, and open to permanent for the right person).

What you'll be doing:

  • Shaping and delivering architecture across complex environments, with a focus on AWS, Databricks, and ElasticSearch
  • Working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and business leaders to translate requirements into robust, future-ready solutions
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance—helping teams deliver on time, on budget, and with a minimum of fuss
  • Keeping an eye on best practices, new technologies, and ways to make things better (not just bigger)

What you bring:

  • Proven experience designing and delivering solutions with AWS, Databricks, and ElasticSearch (hands-on, not just theory)
  • Ability to see the forest and the trees—balancing technical detail with strategic business goals
  • Strong communication skills—you can explain the "why" as well as the "how" to all kinds of people
  • Collaborative mindset, and a genuine interest in helping teams succeed
