Sekuro is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Architect to join our client, a leading Australian enterprise organisation, on a 12-month contract basis. This is an exceptional opportunity to work at the intersection of cybersecurity, digital innovation, and data architecture within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

About the Role

As Senior Cyber Architect for Digital and Data, you will play a pivotal role in embedding security excellence across digital technologies, data platforms, customer technology, and emerging AI capabilities. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Cyber Strategy, Architecture and Governance, you will work closely with enterprise architects, product owners, and development teams to ensure security is designed into solutions from the ground up.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and solution managers throughout the product and service development lifecycle
  • Work with project teams and technical solution architects to ensure security requirements are embedded at design time
  • Review project solution architecture and design to identify cyber control and architecture gaps
  • Recommend security enhancements and improvement opportunities for current systems
  • Convey security implications and inherent and residual risks of various designs to stakeholders
  • Rate and quantify risks that designs expose the organisation to
  • Act as the conduit between cyber architecture, risk and project teams
  • Consult and suggest improvements to documented control patterns

About You

  • 7-10 years in security architecture and consulting roles with 2-3 years at senior level
  • Proven experience in digital technologies including web and mobile applications, eCommerce, and data platforms
  • Strong background managing customer data with understanding of enterprise-level cyber practices
  • Expertise in two or more domains: IAM, Data Protection, Cloud Security, Application Security, or OWASP design patterns
  • Demonstrated capability in cyber threat modelling, risk assessment, and conducting gap analysis across diverse projects
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security in Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge of agentic AI architecture and gaming technologies highly regarded
