We are currently seeking an Import Seafreight Operator within our Marine Logistics verticalto join our team in Sydney, servicing the world's major CruiseLine brands.

Your purpose:

  • Process import documentation
  • Monitor cargo availability and status
  • Arrange Pre-Alerts, arrival notices and outturn reports to clients
  • Organise and lodge under bond movements
  • Clear ocean bills by coordinating payment for local shipping/landed charges
  • Coordinating release of delivery orders and EDO's
  • Finalise invoices to clients and overseas agents
  • Organise local and interstate cartage via road and/or rail

You'll bring:

  • Minimum 2 years Freight Forwarding experience
  • Experience with EDI-Cargo Wise software preferred
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Understanding of warehouse, wharf, shipping procedures and processes
