Job Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced MC Truck Drivers to join our team.

Day and night shifts are available, commencing at 4:00am and 4:00pm.

We are seeking drivers with proven experience in transporting full containers.

A current MSIC and A-Double driving experience are essential for this role.

Key Accountabilities

  • Safely transport full import and export containers within the Port precinct
  • Efficiently reposition empty containers throughout the Port precinct
  • Complete container deliveries to customer sites across metropolitan and regional/rural locations
  • Conduct thorough pre-start inspections, report equipment faults, and perform weight scale calibrations
  • Support the effective management of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and associated compliance requirements
  • Accurately record driver timesheets and load data in accordance with company standards

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Hold a current MC licence and MSIC, with a safe driving record
  • Proven experience in container truck driving, including A-Doubles, reversing, and trailer breakdown
  • Knowledge of Sydney Empty Parks and Terminals and compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations
  • Familiarity with MTData, WAVE, and electronic work diary systems (highly desirable)
  • Strong commitment to vehicle cleanliness, personal presentation, and adherence to legal weight/load requirements
  • Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
