About the Opportunity

To fulfill the duties required in these roles, we are looking for someone with experience carrying out complex strategic planning in accordance with current legislation and regulations. You will have strong project management skills, and experience in preparing and exhibiting planning proposals, land use strategies, structure plans and master and precinct plans.

On a typical day you will:

  • Keep abreast of legislation changes and advise planning staff and management of implications;
  • Prepare and progress planning proposals in accordance with legislation, policy and guidelines;
  • Preparation of land use plans and strategies for the Port Macquarie Hastings LGA;
  • Networking and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and agencies;
  • Research and analysis data to inform best practice and evidence-based approach to planning policy.

Remuneration and Benefits

Employment Type: Full Time, 35 hours per week

Salary (exclusive of super) in the range of $97,130 to $108,719 depending on skills and experience
