About The Role

As Paste Supervisor, you'll oversee daily operations of the Paste Plant, ensuring safety, efficiency, and production targets are met. Reporting to the Superintendent – Ore Processing, you'll lead a team ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations whilst driving continuous improvement.

About Us

CSA Mine is entering a new chapter following its acquisition by Harmony Australasia, one of the world's leading gold producers with a growing international copper footprint.

The CSA Mine is located in Cobar NSW and is Australia's highest-grade copper mine.

We are located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales. At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia's deepest underground mines.

Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, CSA Mine directly employs over 500 people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the daily activities of the Paste Operators including start-up, shutdown, rostering and maintenance.
  • Lead and mentor Paste Operators to ensure ongoing skill development
  • Manage plant operations, maintenance, and cement scheduling
  • Monitor performance and optimise throughput
  • Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

About You

  • 3+ years in mining or mineral processing
  • Experience with paste plants or mill equipment
  • Strong understanding of paste processes and cement requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving and team leadership skills
  • Proficient in computer-based systems

Conditions:

This is a 7/7 roster (day shift only). FIFO (Sydney/Brisbane), DIDO with camp and commute allowance or residential options.
